Our Children are a very special part of our congregation. Each Sunday morning they are invited to participate in a "moment with the children" at the beginning of the worship service. Busy bags are also provided at the back of the auditorium for use during the service.

Sunday School classes are provided every Sunday morning at 10:00 am for our children ages 2-5th grade and every Wednesday night beginning at 7:00 pm. Our Children's curriculum comes from David C. Cook and is designed to be interactive and age appropriate material. The children will move through the entire Bible over the course of 3 years learning to love God's word all along the way!

We also have several other children's activities through out the year including:

* The Sweethearts Banquet

* VBS (Vacation Bible School) a 3 day fun filled community event

* Back To School Ice Cream Social and Game Night

* Trunk or Treat

There are several wonderful community outreach and service opportunities at our church.

Wednesday Night Meals: Every Wednesday during the school year we come together starting at 6:00 pm to eat a wonderful meal prepared by one of our members and fellowship together before Bible class. Everyone is invited to join and participate with us.

Ministerial Alliance: We participate in service and benevolence with several of the other churches in our area. They offer temporary assistance with the bills of those in need. We also come together for Lenten Lunches each year, meeting every Wednesday during the Lenten season at the First Baptist Church Gymnasium at 12:00 pm to eat, fellowship, worship and hear a short sermon from one of the local ministers.

Toys for Tots: Each year our church collects toys to help those in need provide Christmas Gifts for their families. This year we were blessed to help over 80 families because of the generous donation of many people in Junction.

Our youth group is an active group of local teens led by Kyle Crabtree and  Daniel Henderson. They meet on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am for Sunday School and Wednesday Nights at 7:00 pm for Bible study and often a few games of basketball in our gym.

Our teens are also heavily involved in community activities whether sports, band or 4-H. We also go on a special mission trip each summer  to Camp Barnabas. This is a camp for individuals with special needs who come to experience a week full of God and fun designed to include every camper.
